- Congratulations to our Member of the Month, Brennan Bowker! Brennan Bowker, MHS, PA-C, CPAAPA received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010 from the Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant program. After graduation, she began working in trauma & general surgery at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, CT which is now part of the Yale New Haven Health System. Brennan has remained at the St. Raphael campus where she continues to practice in emergency and general surgery. In addition to her clinical role at the hospital, she serves on several committees and is especially involved with the coordination of PA and medical students on their surgical clerkships. She also is a preceptor for clinical and pre-clinical students and coordinates monthly CME sessions for the department APPs.
In addition to working full time at the hospital, Brennan is also a clinical adjunct assistant professor at Quinnipiac University. She co-chairs the physician assistant admission committee and lectures for several courses, both at the graduate and undergraduate level. She especially enjoys inspiring students to write and publish. Although she has many interests, working with students and PA education (especially medical writing) are among her favorites! Seeing her students present at a conference is a feeling, she says, that is hard to rival!

- On that note, we would also like to congratulate ALL of our student members who are graduating this month! Please come to our virtual networking events if you are looking to connect with PAs around the country and open doors for jobs in the future.
